I help sub-$1M agencies stop depending on referrals with positioning so clear it does the selling for them.
Chris DuBois coaches founders of sub-$1M agencies on positioning, messaging and offers, so new work keeps coming in during their busiest delivery weeks instead of depending on referrals. His skills encode how he edits and reviews agency copy: cutting short-form copy down to one sharp claim, and reading a finished page as the real buyer to find where trust breaks.
One command for Claude Code, a prompt for Claude or ChatGPT, or a ZIP of every skill folder.
Help me install the 2 skills by Chris DuBois from this GitHub URL in Claude: https://github.com/agiea-brain/agency-skills/tree/main/skills/chris-dubois Prepare only the skills in that folder, not other skills in the repository. Inspect each complete skill folder, not just SKILL.md. Preserve the original instructions and include all supporting files (such as references, scripts, templates and assets), keeping their relative paths intact. Package each skill as a downloadable ZIP containing its skill folder with SKILL.md directly inside that folder. If a skill only contains SKILL.md, package that folder too. Give me the download link for each ZIP and walk me through uploading and enabling it under Settings, Capabilities, Skills in Claude. If you cannot access GitHub or create downloadable files here, explain what I need to download and how to package and upload it myself. Do not invent missing files or claim the skill is installed before I upload it.
Paste this prompt into Claude. It packages each skill folder as a ZIP, supporting files included, and walks you through uploading them under Settings, Capabilities, Skills.
Use this skill when a finished page, deck, or piece of client copy is about to go to the client or be published, and a real ICP or buyer research document exists. Produces a ranked list of what would make the target buyer stop trusting it, read in character, with every finding citing a line in a real source, plus what to cut and a score. Catches what craft reviews miss: scenarios that can't happen in the buyer's week, an offer never plainly stated, missing price, unused proof, seller vocabulary. Also use for "/buyer-read", "review this as the buyer", "have the ICP look at this", "what would a CFO think of this page", "be hypercritical about this copy". Not for grammar or voice checks, and never for rewriting.
Use this skill when a piece of short-form copy (headline, subhead, hero, CTA, subject line, tagline, ad line, bio, or short section) is wordy, soft, or forgettable. Produces a sharper rewrite, one or two alternates on a different angle, and a score against a six-dimension rubric, revised until it passes. Also use for "/punch-up", "make this punchier", "make this catchier", "tighten this", "this is too wordy", "cut this down", "sharpen this headline". Not for the body of a blog post or newsletter, and not for writing a page from scratch.
